Brambling with beech - original artwork

A one-off original artwork featuring a brambling - one of our winter visitors - perched among beech leaves and mast. The beech is one of my favourite trees, beautiful at any time, but I am particularly fond of its golden autumn colouring. This artwork has been created using collaged paper with individual feathers and flower petals being meticulously cut and layered. The collaged sections have been drawn into before being assembled using an archival pH neutral glue. The collage is mounted onto Fabriano Artistico paper, a beautiful smooth heavy weight paper.

The image size is 19 x 18 cm and the paper size is 28 x 28 cm.
